Finished Pinterest Project: Curtain Rod Hanging Frames

I’ve been dragging my feet on this project for some time. Well, this morning I FINALLY finished it.

This is a curtain rod hanging frame project I was inspired to do after I saw it here and pinned it to my Pinterest “For the Home” board. I bought the curtain rod and frames from Goodwill. My younger sister bought the table from Goodwill and gave it to me (thanks, Chas!). I spray painted the table a lovely shade of purple–it took a couple coats. The ribbon is from my fave DIY supply store, JoAnn’s. I used a hot glue gun to adhere the looped ribbon to the back of each frame. Then, I cut long piece of ribbon and tied it in a bow around the top of each hanging frame. Each picture is of my son with each set of his grandparents, GrandmaShell,  GranJan & PaPa Dunlevy, and Nammy & PaPa Seidel. I don’t post pictures of my son on social media, so this is a real treat for everyone who knows that!

I’ll be posting more completed projects to this blog in order to keep myself motivated when it comes to all those damn pins on Pinterest! (And to get my house cleaned up, it’s been messy since I became a mother, 6 1/2 months ago. Motherhood is hard work, but also rewarding.)
